Gravy Brain...

...because it's from the drippings and juices flowing in my brain. The tidbits you sneek before the meal is served, while you're making the gravy. So, these are excerpts from my life, thoughts about God and the Life found in Him. Sometimes I'll talk like you're listening. Sometimes I'll jot down stuff like a journal. Read it. Don't read it. Doesn't matter. The real meat & potatoes (the lessons mentioned in the side bar) can be found at TheJesusTribe, in Links. Be blessed, or not. It is a choice.

Should've Gone First

Okay, so I was looking back at how I got this blog started, and I realized that I have never told you about my family. I should have opened with something about us and our living arrangement....so here goes.

I am 33 and very happily married to a 37 year old guy, who just so happens to be the love of my life and was my high school sweetheart. I'll call him Mr. Kent (as in Clark), because he is my super hero.

We have three kids with great personalities, who are fairly well behaved. My oldest, J.. , is 11. He is entering pre-teen way to early for me; as far as wanting his freedom to go and do. I am thankful, however, that he does not have an interest in girls, sex and the such....yet. J.. is entertainingly funny, a real smart-ass. He has dark hair and dark eyes.

H.. is my 4 1/2 year old. She is something else. Very independant, very strong, bold and brave. Also very stubborn. She has light brown hair and green eyes. She took gymnastics last year and when asked what she wanted to try this year, "gymnastics again or modern dance?" she replied with, "yes! and karate, and ice skating and music lessons (although she cannot choose an instrument)..."! It changes daily.

M.. is my baby. At one and a half he is an angel. He has white blonde, curly hair and blue eyes. He loves to laugh and tease and pull pranks, as do his brother and sister. He has their (our) sense of humor. He is a riot and is full of life.

We live in a single family house with my mom, B... She and my father are separated, almost 11 years now. She doesn't want to live alone and invited us to come and stay awhile. We accepted, planning on a temporary stay to save for a house. Well, consequently, we have paid off all of our debt (accept for a car payment) and have been using our savings to fix up this place. We are seriously considering staying permanantly and adding on. Mom likes that idea.

The only pets we have are two seperate beta fish; Little Mo is J..'s and Dora belongs to H... B.. doesn't want animals. Although I want the kids to experience growing up with animals, I really don't want to spend the money on their supplies and vet visits and I really really don't want another body to care for.

Well, that's enough for now. I'll explain more as it pertains to the content. Thanks for reading.
